Here's a list of character types that we would particularly like to see at the moment.

• Canons! All main SG-1 canons are welcome
• Lower-ranked military characters (especially non-commissioned/enlisted)
• Senator Kinsey
• Civilians in general
• Physicists
• Natural scientists - botany, biology, etc.
• Technicians/support staff
• Tok'ra
• Free Jaffa
• Non-earth humans

What we DON'T need:

• Everything is free and clear for application!

There are a couple of characters that Ladon would love to see:

First is his sister, Dahlia Radim (Sonja Bennett). Dahlia's the only person (other than himself, of course), that Ladon really cares about. Canonically, she was seriously ill from radiation poisoning, but keeping that or not is up to the player.

Second is a friend, male, but name and face otherwise up to the player. Possibly Cassel Massan. He would be a Genii officer, with a soldier-scientist relationship with Ladon akin to the ones between O'Neill and Jackson, or Sheppard and McKay.
