I am indeed. He's turned out to be an incredible kid, too. Fencing, aikido, boxing, played rugby for a few years, reads voraciously, polite, considerate... oh yeah, teenage tantrums and spots from hell.

Well done, there, Sweets! I would go on about the wonderful qualities of my kid, but she just lays around the house. (Maia the cat, Not Sam)

You re going to make me do math... 24? She has been living with me for the last 2 years, and I haven't killed her yet. So she must have become an ok person.

Sounds good to me. Your sister still having issues, or she just decided she wants to live with her auntie?

A little of both. Sis is doing alright, but she has her hands full with Sarah (the younger niece). And honestly Sam and I speak the same language, geek.

Sounds like a match made in heaven. My sis is not doing well, and our parents have had broad custody of her kids for the last 18 months.

Probably not. She's an addict, and not willing to truly change. She "changes" as long as she's being kept proper tabs on.

Well then my respect for you parents just increased. Weird, I just finished writing the part of my characters application where her parents left her in care of her grandparents due to drug issues.
