Taft was walking out to the side of the other three, with the other Sergeant bringing up the rear which put the tech in between the two Air Force members. That made Taft the outrider, or close range over watch, however one wanted to put it. But it wasn't hard to see what the Major was asking about. ...

He shouldered his pack, cinched it down, and heading toward the gate. He pulled back the charging lever on his shotgun, leaving it in the locked position for the moment while he watched the gate rotate and lock chevrons. The gate opened and Taft didn't even lean back as the event horizon burst outwa...

"More so," he responded smoothly to her assessment of where the fear of Taft stood in comparison to the fear of the gods. "But I try to reserve it for when they've done something that could cause me to do paperwork, rather than general laziness." It was only fair, general lazine...

"Your definition of pretty and a society of warrior women's definition of pretty are likely two very different things, Davidson. A hardened warrior will beat out any of those smooth faced boys with the airbrushed fluff muscles you like to peruse on the world wide web." Taft pulled a notep...

"I'm not familiar with it." Taft tended to avoid reading O'neil's reports, memos, or the like. He rambled details out like a third grader working on a 'what I did during summer break' essay, so Taft tended to just read the rest of SG-1's reports and extrapolate the fourth puzzle piece fro...

"I scare people as a genetic trait. Got it from my father's side of the family." Taft said it as a matter of fact. Truth, from the gospel according to Taft. His father was certainly the only person who'd ever scared him and that was likely because he'd never known his grandfather when he ...

Staff Sergeant Dreher shifted a bit. He'd come along to see what was going on, ignoring the Marine in their midst and the lack of other Combat Rescue team members until he knew exactly what they'd been called together for. And once he got it he looked a little disgruntled. "Major, why are we br...

Taft was the first one through, as always. He had no intel about what they were getting into, and the Alpha Site didn't run their own armory per se, so when he'd packed up to go through he had brought everything except the kitchen sink. He was geared heavy and fully, looking as if he were marching t...

Taft was thinking about the logistics of a horse. They were expensive, especially the ones that were worth a damn. He didn't need a pure bred or anything, of course, just a decent mix would do for a riding horse. Something good natured, patient, and calm if he was going to teach somebody to ride on ...
